Ford 9 3/8" axle on '67 Lincoln

New guy to this site, so hello! I had a few questions about the 9 3/8" axles Lincoln used on their 67 Continentals. If anyone has any info as to if they are 31 or 28 spline??? I have the axle, but I need better gearing since I plan on 436hp out of my 462 engine. Torque will be around 515 and the car weighs about 5500 lbs with 2 people in it. I can choose from a 3.25 ratio or a 3.50. A guy has the 3rd member complete ready to drop in with limited slip for $250 plus shipping. Not too bad I think. Any suggestions about what ratio to use this power and weight??? Again, really need that spline count on the '67 Lincolns. Thanks a lot.
