Think 40's would fit?

Anyone think 40's would fit on my 1980 F-250 custom 4x4 302 4spd flatbed if i got a 6 inch suspension lift?Right now it has 35 buckshot wide mudders on it with no lift. Had a friend compare his 38.5 boggers to it and i think i could stuff 38.5's no lift under it.What do you guys think?

i dont know, turning might be a problem but then again i managed to fit 32 inch tires under a 97 f150 4x2 with stock suspension and no modification to anything.

might be hard to turn though.

i would lift it more, then you can have big tires and lotsa wheel travel
