SAS

Just curious if anyone here has done a solid axle swap or is thinking on doing one on one of their rangers. This is something I am going to attempt on my old bronco II.

You must have those vacuum assisted hubs. Alot of people had problems with them. What you need to do to get manual hubs is swap a set of axles and hubs out of a explorer. Maybe someone else here has more info on this. A friend of mine did this swap on his ranger in my shop, I just never paid to much attention. I will see if I can find out more for you.

FordRebel, check the TRS main page, they have an article on that swap.

Tbolt, same thing, there are several articles and (both of you can) check the forums, those questions are asked quite often. Hope this helps.
