i know nothing of the twin i beam thing but one way to lower it is if the leef sprungs are on the top of the axles the you should be able to take them off and connect them to the bottm pretty easily

I know DJM Suspension makes a kit for your truck. It is a 2.5"-3" drop and they use new beams they call dream beams. You can check them out @ http://www.djmsuspension.com/Menus/OpeningMenu.htm

drop spring coils, or ibeams.
djm are good beams, and no don't get cought up in the aim mess
they give people about djm.
i'm not sure, think belltech may make some spindles for them.

best thing to do is get the ibeams, and do a flipkit in the back.
flip kit will put the leaf springs under the axle, there for lowering your truck.
