dumb question..

Ok......here goes....prolly one of the stupidest questions u guys have had lately......

When you guys are talkin "BAGS"..(i kinda have a grasp on the concept...hehe)...is that similar to the "AIR RIDE" like on the Lincolns?
I've wanted to ask that question for a while now but it just sounded dumb to me.........

I was thinkin the other night (after a few too many..lol) that to put it simple, bags would be comparable to the load leveler on some of the luxury cars except the driver has control over the compressor.....am I even close?

Just wondering....I'll crawl back into my 12 pack now and shut up...hehe.

Without going into detail,"bags" are like "air-ride". The set-ups added to cars and trucks vs. factory systems like linc, have a greater range of movement. The factory set-ups mostly are just for correcting ride height if a load is applied......only a inch or so. The ones added give a greater height movement usually 4 in or more.
It's not a dumb question when more and more vehicles come factory equipped with an air-ride type system. VW, Porsche and Land Rover suvs have air suspensions that give a good abiity to adjust vehicle height....offroading vs cruising the blvd.
