Hey guys,

I just installed a set of 20's with 275/45/20 falkens on chrome Bazo B4's on my 2000 Mounty.

My question is has anyone here either done something similar, or know someone that has.... After I installed them the truck feels loose. I know the tire size will give me a faster response feel, but it just feels unstable.

Maybe a larger sway bar or something? I have no idea about what suspension mods would be best. The wife says it's fine for her, but I am curious about other opinions...

A larger tire/wheel will hunt for ruts in the road. The wider tire and greater mass is the cause...its normal. A sway-bar only takes care of roll. I know i'm no help but, what you're experiencing is normal.

That's what I've heard...but to me, I can't believe that this mod is so popular and it feels so crappy when you drive the thing. Glad the wife uses it most, that's for sure.

I know the feeling, I went from little highway tires to 32 inch AT tires with deep tread, you can hear the tread flap when you drive and the ride is rougher but boy is it fun to drive!

Very nice... when i had my truck... i had 33x1250r15's tires on my 15x8 inch rim. Thats a 12.5" wide tire on a 8" wide rim. I wouldnt recommend it, and although it fit it was very unstable in braking hard and cornering. How wide is your rim? Could this be the case for you? Not sure... just stating my point
