Question Leaf Spring Clamps

Has anyone ever tried leveling out the back of their ranger using leaf springs? i saw a picture on car domain of a 98 ranger leveled out using leaf spring clamps, so i tried this myself and it did nothing i drive a 96 so i know that it isn't because our trucks are totally different. does anyone else know of a real inexpensive way to level out a ranger for a do it yourselfer? thanks any and all suggestions/comments would be really appreciated.

well, you have a few options.... you can crank down your torsion bars (if you have them) or you might be able to get drop leafs for the back.... i'm not too sure about that one tho... your back is going to be sitting 1.5'' higher than the front, so maybe you'd want to add some weight to the bed, a few bags of sand or concrete might do the trick. another route would be to try to find some blocks for the front... ask JASFRMN about that tho, he knows more about dropping than i do, if you have any lift ??'s, ask me.... any time you decide to drop or lift the truck, you'll get the right components to level it out...

eg, my lift was 3'' (Spindles) in the front, and 1.5 (leafs) in the back...

I have seen coil springs that are made to raise the front enough to level the truck...that or blocks for the rear is what I am thinking

would you just use shorter blocks? arent they usually used for lifting tho, or do you replace your leafs with blocks, or what?
