thanks jasfrmn, screw, and all of the others who helped me in my quest for the perfect lift. i have resolved my issues, both suspensionally and financially. within a few short weeks, hopefully, i will soon be getting the 3'' pro comp spindle lift. found a good deal on 31's, (gotta like the 50k mile waranty too). in my ongoing saga, i have delt on and off with 4wheelparts. i was still mad at them today, until i went in one last time to talk to kevin. i had spoken to him today on the phone, and thought that there was a chance at making this whole thing work out. i trudged on over to 4wp in plano, and spoke with kevin. he was most helpful, gave me a rundown of all of the parts and possibilities for problems. not only, but an exact price quote on all parts and labor.

in short; 4WP is now in good standing with me, i will be getting my lift (provided a small loan from the national bank of dad, as i dont have ALL of the cash for this, just 75%)

once again, thanks to all involved, happy ford custom.....izing.

I would have helped you if I had known anything about suspension. I'm glad your gonna get to finally lift it.

It seems this Kevin guy really turned you around. Working in sales myself I can tell you that when someone makes a good impression on a customer there is nothing that benifits the company more. If I were you when this is all said and done I would write Kevin's boss a letter telling him what happend and what made you come back.

There is no "thank you" like letting his boss know the impact he made.

BTW..... when is it gonna get lifted? like next week or what?

it's going to get lifted within a month, i'll be sure to post pics. i'm looking at a deal on 4wp.com right now that's buy a pro comp ifs lift (ford, dodge, chevy, gmc) and get free install + free mx6 shocks. not a bad deal.... plus free shipping!

i should be doing something soon (ordering parts) , but am a little short on cash (for the install) at the moment, (i need $400, working on a loan from the national bank of dad) i have a job, but it's going to be a few weeks to get the extra $$$. IF this free install deal applies to my truck, i'll be doing this any day, if not, gotta scrape up some cash.

thanks for the interest, i'll let you guys know. when i get this done, i'm gonna want to go offroading.... i'll put up a post, and maybe we can get a few of the plano/garland guys together to go.
