| ball joints and alignment I have one bad ball joint (passenger lower) on my '87 BII 4x4. I figure I'll replace both on that side, while I have it apart. Do I need to do the other side as well, or will it be ok doing one side and waiting a bit to do the other. Also, I had an alignment done about a year ago when I replaced the tie rods, and the camber was slightly off. Can I use the information from the previous alignment to repair the camber while I have it apart? Or do I need to replace the ball joints with the current camber bushing, get the alignment done, and then fix the camber after (requiring me to take the front end apart again)? |
