Nothin to major with my truck... I told my g/f my idea about the 4/5 drop and she said no lol... she told me that if i was going to do anything to it i was going to raise it or she was going to leave me... pretty crude isn't it? she already has control over my life now shes taking over my truck... so now my question is how high can I legally go in illinois and about how much is it going to cost me?

dont look at this as a problem, this is an opporitunity. if i was you i would slam it as far as it would go. OR if she wanted it lifted so bad then she could do it herself. tell her to do mine while shes at it

heh i completly agree with you both.. .but i have also been thinking about the whole pre-runner idea but I guess overall I think im going to keep it the way it is for now untill i can finish my interior... ohh yea anyone near illinois know how to fiberglass? I need to learn... guess overall i dont understand it... I plan to fiberglass my center console back... and up to the roof... then work on putting 2 subs an amp rack and a ps2 holder...

so any help? hehe by the way how much will it cost? j/wing so i can tell her if she wants it so bad to do it :)

if you did want to lift it here is some info about the state of IL.

Illinois


You can't lift the body from the chassis more than 3 inches. In terms of bumper height, a 4,500-pound GVWR or less and your front bumper can't go higher than 24 inches, and the rear must be no more than 26 inches. GVWRs between 4,501 and 7,500 mean 27 inches at the front and 29 at the rear. Finally, if your truck is between 7,501 and 9,000, the allowable altering is 28 and 30 inches.

well ok for 31's you only need a 3 inch body lift, but if you want suspensopn you only need like 3.5 for sure a 5.5 will fit em itll fit 35's plus, i dont know if they make any smallers

i got both but for 31's only body lift, same with the 32's and maybe some coil spacers, may rub a little but mine didnt so......
