| how to measure factory lift okmy toyotas factory lifted but how do i find out how much? cuz i wanna add 7 inches but i wanna know how much the factory is first. so. do i measure from the axles to the body or what?

| i think it is about 3", but im not sure how you could measure that exactly. Sorry.

| okay to acurately measure the true lift you are going to get.... 1) take a crayon and mark a spot on the top of each wheel well lip. 2) while the suspension is sitting in normal driving position( at rest) take a tape measure and measure it. 3) take those numbers and write them down on a piece of paper 4) now that you have the base measurements... install your lift kit. 5) remeasure at the same locations using the same tires you had on for the first measurements. those will be your true lift height. 6) now this step is optional. to find out total height difference with the tires... remeasure it again with the new larger tires at the same locations. 7) take this new number and subtract the original numbers from it to find out your lift amout.

| no problem..... i used it on my truck i had the 2 inch from the factory then i put a 4 inch on and found that i gained 2 inches.before the tires after the tires i gained a total of 5.75 inches in the rear and 5.5 in the front over the first measurements!

| well as soon as i get inch lift will be going on but i'll hold that lift till i can afford the big 38inchs tires

| technically you measure a drop from the middle of the hubs to the bottom of the fender. i guess lift is the same

| well you can do it that way too... but either way make sure of local lift laws so the bumper is not higher than allowed!

| lol well my neighbors got a truck that has a custom 13inch lift and 3in body lift and it passed
