torsion bars

help!!! does anyone know how to crank down the torsion bars!!!

yup man follow the torsion bar to the end of it you will find P looking thing with a bolt running through it tighten the bolt uptill snug and have a alightment done (friend did it on 99trail head )

true. also dont crank them down to much it will cause them to wear out prematurely... same with cranking them up! it will also wear out other suspension components too!

just tighten up till you cant anymore and the truck has to be off the groung for it to be equal that is how we got his finnally equal he has had his like that since he got it in 99 and no wear yet 135000 miles later

well i am just stating what i was told by a suspension shop. maybe it was their way of selling me a real lift!

like he said dubbed i don't think u can get a full 3 inch drop by cranking them down and if u can that might mess up stuff in the suspension
