| Coming in from the FightRice Merge Weird they merged the forums up like this.. to a ford forum? interesting... Well I have an 86 Fiero SE, the crappy 2.5 OHV TBI I4 Iron Duke haha. Right now its an "experimental" car. I don't drive it much because of our new car, I just try out crazy crap on it to see if it looks good or not. Eventually am going for a full engine and tranny swap, rebody, new suspension, new upholstery, all of it. When I get the $$$. I just got a donor leather wrapped formula-style wheel from one of my junker fieros put in today and some minor repairs as well (loose wires, replaced ISC valve and such). Its still going strong and is a fun car. ![]() ![]() ![]() For my (and my wife's) DD, we actually have a ford! Its a 2002 Escape XLT, with the 3.0 DOHC V6. Its about got it all: 4WD, the 6 disk changer and factory subwoofer, running boards, the bug visor haha. Its decent, has a fair bit of power towards the higher rpms. ![]() ![]() ![]() So anyway, still a little thrown off by the merge, but I got myself a ford so I don't feel too left out heh heh.

| Re: Coming in from the FightRice Merge Haha they dont have a whole lot of power (especially mine), but they are only 2600lbs, MR layout, and have a decent stock suspension, sitting pretty low (my stock one, your head is about as low as the top of the wheels on the escape) and stiff but comfy, as well as standard 4 wheel discs, so even with not a lot of power, they are still fun and handle very well. But the really nice thing about them is they are a great potential chassis, you can pretty easily fit just about any engine in there, the most common are different types of V8s. Which gives them a very nice power-weight ratio.
