| What kinda car is that? Probe? :puzzled: Doesn't look like a domestic to me

| KEWL! Thanks for setting me straight, Justin! Ya know, the more I look at it, the more I wish Ford would keep this car in production  (is the rumor I heard about the Cougar being discontinued true?), and the more I look at it, the more I like this car. (my apologies to 2Low4PotHoles for misidentifying his car, I had a hard time seeing through all the loud graphics)  A Cougar would be the perfect car for my daughter when she starts driving. I like the new Cougar better than a Focus or Neon (or the other popular kid-cars) What year did the Cougars have the body style shown in the above pic? After the MN12 Bird/Cat were discontinued in 97? :puzzled: Hopefully I'll be able to find one in 4 years when my daughter starts driving. The Ford Legacy in the Pearson household continues...

| What was the body style in 98? Thanks for the added info, 2Low. Now I have another question: After the 'Bird was discontinued in '97, what did the Cougar look like in '98? And what chassis is/was the final Cougar on? Is that an SN95 car? A Mazda? I wanna know!:puzzled:

| Keepin' the topic fresh Anybody know what frame the last and final Cougar was based on? I haven't seen one up close enough to determine whether it's on an SN95/Fox chassis/frame or the Probe/Mazda. Or maybe it's something totally different. I'll go ask on the T-bird forum. Maybe some of the older 'Cat fans will know.
