Sounds like you have quite a bit done, it must work good. Have you had the car to the track or is it just a cruiser.
My cruiser is a 40 ford and my on going project is a 64 fairlane. I was hoping to have the 64 done by now but health problems all summer have really slowed the progress down. I have 90% of the parts for the 521ci which I will be posting some pics of shortly.

wow sounds sweet... that is one heck of an engine! i really like the look of the old fords... have any pics? i also have a friend up at the drags that races an old fairlane. its pretty quick, too. definate potential. i race my car most fridays up at our local dragstrip. so far i've only been able to get low 14's outta it, but hopefully once BBK releases their SSI upper and lower intake then it'll be in the 13's.

It won't take to much to get yourself in the 13s. Do you run slicks?
Here are a couple pics of the 40

Here are a couple shots of my bronco I took today at the shop

and here is a old pic of the 64 fairlane

i'm planning on running slicks this coming weekend, well if i can get my header fixed.. i think i have a gasket leak...

but anyways the ole ford looks great! i bet that gets lots of looks- and the bronco... awesome! i never saw one like that... is that custom? not too mention the fairlane, i'm sure that moves, from the looks of the big freaken slicks on the back!

What do I drive ?
1st I drive my 13 year old son crazy.........
2nd when I'm good and the wife is out of town, which is about twice a month, I get her Lincoln LS.
3rd and reliable, daily driver is Old Blue. My 64 Impala. I know you dont need to say a thing. But when I found her I was in the hunt for a new toy, adventure. No reasonable Fords to be had at that time. Unless it wwas a Mustang. And I didnt want one.
If you go back far enough you will find pictures of my Lil Tude Focus that I used to own.
But I did find a 62 Galaxy 500 today. I get time in the next week or 2 I will do some investigating.
And Tbolt I love your 40.............

Hey fiveOgirl is it a header gasket that is leaking? This could kill some hp. Easy solution, buy your long tubes install them and race at the track open headers. Of course if this is also your daily driver this might cause a little to much unwanted attention on the streets ...lol

wow. you're good. thats what it is... i heard it the other day so i checked it and yeah its the left hand header gasket. got new good gaskets this time... planning on putting them on this weekend. i dont normally drive the car much, only on the weekends (pretty much just up to the drags) or occasionally if we need an extra car for something (which is rare). but hey thanks for the tip!!

What type of gaskets did you get ?..
I went through 2 set's of Mr.Gasket befor I bought a set of copper. Copper or soft aliminum are well worth the investment. And they can be re-used if need be.
