Medford Cruise - Ford Motor Forums

We went to the Medford Cruise today, Sunday. Should have been there Saturday, when 600 cars showed. On Sunday it was only 75 or so, so the photo op was very limited. Here are a few.
The first two pics are of a Lotus. Dont know much of anything about Lotus, but it looked expensive and fast, and the pretty blonde owner said it weighs a mere 1800 lbs.
My neighbor's '37 Packard is shown, along with an awesome '36(?) Ford coupe that had a 4 sale sticker of 67K.

I lived in Medford 1971-76 worked at Thrift Auto Supply on Riverside,they still around? didn't have much going on in those days

I havent heard of Thrift Auto Jeff. They were probably muscled out by Schucks, Carquest, NAPA and the other biggies.

When we first moved here someone said that Southern Oregon had more hot rods, customs and restored vintage iron than anywhere else per capita. They did seem to be everywhere. Now not so much, apparently staying in the garage to come out on special occaisions.

Thanks for sharing pict's from up North. When you watch My Classic Car ol Dennis makes a ton of trips up North if not to Jay's monster garage.
