Re: The member who makes post # 1000 in this thread wins a prize! If you're a student, you can get Photo Shop for about $275 and Elements for about $75. Do a google search for "academic software."

Re: The member who makes post # 1000 in this thread wins a prize! haha! Actually decided the camera was too much for me, traded it for a couple computers and now I have a $300.00 Kodak that takes just as good as pictures, IMO.

Re: The member who makes post # 1000 in this thread wins a prize! If we are to reach 1,000 we need to get some kind of dialog going. So how about a discussion on everyones favorite subject. GAS MILEAGE ![]() When my 2002 Ranger had 22K on the clock it got about 16-17 mpg on the hwy. and about 12-13 mpg around town. Over the next 6,000 miles I ran 2 cans of fuel injector cleaner through the tank. My mph went up to 18.5-19 mpg hwy. I've been adding fuel injector cleaner to my tank every 3,000 and fuel system cleaner every 12,000 miles ever since. I lowered my truck 2/3" and I was most pleasantly surprised when my mpg went up to just a tick over 20 mpg. Putting a hard tonneau cover on the bed got me to 21.5 to 22 mpg on the hwy. I made the changes for the looks. The increased mpg was just a bonus. I now routinely get 350/365 hwy. miles per tank. (17-17.5 gals) depending on conditions such as wind and terrain. A 40-50 mph head wind or a 5-10 mile mountain pass that's 4,000-6,000 ft can wreak havoc on your mpg. For the last 18 months and 10,000 plus miles I've kept very careful records of my gas mileage. I've gotten a low of 14.28 mpg (all city driving with a heavy foot) to a high of 21.03 mpg. (all 70 mph cruse control hwy. miles) Overall average for 10,385 miles is 17.35 mpg. That's 75% city, 25% hwy. If it were 50/50 my mpg would probably be 18.5-18.7. I don't think those numbers are to bad. My truck is probably 500 lbs. heavier than a completely stock, 2002 XLT, extended cab 4 door with 3.0L and automatic transmission. Yes I have a lot of time on my hands. I'm retired. BTW: I didn't like the ride with the 2/3" drop. So I put the truck back to stock and my mpg went back to 20.4-20.6.

Re: The member who makes post # 1000 in this thread wins a prize! This may take a while. Was just looking at a thread on another forum. It was started on 02/25/2003. As of 03/11/2007 they had reached 970. ![]()
