New Rear Tires

Put some wider rear tires on this past week... they look nice. I love them.

Mike i was going to but people warned about tire turnover since the tires would be wider than the rim itself...

275 would be good for a track car but since its a daily driver is not a good idea for safety and car control issues.

i guess its called tire roll... when you turn hard... arg it hard to explain, but basically it messes with your handling

Well i think it all depends on the width of your rim! I run 275/45/17 but my rim is 9.5 inches wide. I think yours are only 8.5 wide.

Damn, screw! THAT IS SOME MEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you're talking about how the tire deforms during hard and heavy cornering. But it's not really a cause of wheel or tire width, but more to do with the height of the tire off the rim. That's why low profile tires are preferred (other than for looks), because there is less rubber and less lateral(sideways) movement possible.
