Everyone has a race car

Well, not everyone. But it's funny how so many people want to race against my wife's car.
Of course, the good news is, they don't realize it has a turbo.
I don't get into "street racing", but I've been known to play, here and there. I'll run up to about 10-15 over the limit and lift. I can't see the need to get crazy on the street.
Anyway, the first victim was a guy in a Cavalier. I'll make it short.
I didn't know he was trying to race, but I got into the boost (didn't floor it) to go around a Toyota Tacoma. As I was doing that, the poor guy in the Cavalier punched it, but I pulled away, easily.
The look on his face, when he caught up (I slowed down ... A LOT, to turn) was priceless.
Second victim; A guy in a Honda Accord. That was hilarious. nuff said
Third victim; Another guy in a Honda Accord. I was laughing a full minute later.
Why don't these guys ever want to race, when I'm in my truck?
Maybe, the do and I just can't tell.
I just think it's funny because they all seem to want to "beat up on" a 4 cylinder/automatic Mustang. But, this is not your typical 4 cylinder/auto Mustang. I bet, if I installed a SVO wing, they wouldn't want to race it.:nono:
I also think, I'm boosting the sales of turbos in my area.
I pretty much can't wait 'til this car is done.
I still haven't installed the new (MUCH more efficient) turbo, nor the nitrous, NOR the limited slip rear ... Nor, the intake, nor the header, nor the tranny (with transPack) and the new converter (which, I don't have yet. And I'm still running a 2.5" exhaust!
I'd say, this car is going to get me in trouble!
Anyway, this car is a blast (could you tell, I like it? ) and these "boy racers" are great fun!

just last night i was at the light when this sunfire pulled up next to me. He look at me and then started to rev his car like a mad man! I was laughing sooooo hard!!! I looked at him and told him to forget it b/c he was not worth the waste of gass! That sorta pissed him off, but then this F-150 that was sitting there all that time on the other side yelled at me! He said " ARE YOU GOING TO LET THAT PUNK BITCH TRY US!!" i was like "US"? HE goes " YA US, YOU HAVE TO REPRESENT THE BLUE MAN!!!!" so that got me all hype and as the light turned green i decided to put on a show and i poped the clutch and burned out through 1st and all of 2nd, as soon as i was done with that display of how big my balls are i looked back to see the sunfire trying its hardest to catch me! LOL!!!!! I was only going 50 mph and when he caught up to me i looked at him and he gave me a look of " SORRY!"

I've been known to run the streets once in awhile. It's hard to get a race with a 10 sec Ranger FS: 10 sec Ranger Pro street/Drag

I've notice one thing since I've got my Stang: not many will try to pull out from behind me then try to cut back in front of me. Especially when trying to get up to the light for the on-ramp to the free-way. Those that do try wind up having to go down the street and get on from the other direction since I made them stay out in the lane that only goes straight (no turns allowed).

Before, in my Nissan Sentra, that happened all the time since the four-banger had no balls. Great on gas, but no balls.

I posted a pic (or two), and a link to my pages on imagestaion.com, in the snapshots forum. It's titled "my wife's Mustang" ('cause, it's really hers ... when I get it finished. :puzzled: I wonder why it's taking so long to finish this thing. ).
