almost killed my 4x4

last night was out 4x4 around with my friend and we were playing in the snow. we got stuck somewhat so i gave it more gas doing about 3 to 4000 rpm all the tire spinning my friend look out at the tire and seen a orange light under the truck. the snow is up to the bottem of the box and got summer tires on it. we jump out and the trans is leaking oil on to the exhast pipe. the oil is on fire from the hot exhast pipe we slid under and start kicking snow on to it and get it out after 5 mins of pushing snow around the pipe. the truck is fine and it got a hole in the trans gasket but it still drove 30 mins to my house with no problems.
