| it happend on 100 right before the PA turnpike. i guess if it had to be anywhere you could say it was in exton. the guy in the car had internal bleeding and a broken leg and elbow. the cops weighed the 450 to make sure it was legal and it weighed about 19,000 pounds. 21,000 is the limit. Get this, the guy drivin the mustang didnt own it. he was a mechanic at a dealership and he was dropping his wife off at work. the car was one he got off the lot at the dealer.

| hey I'm new to this place but when I was 18 I got a job at a Volkswagen dealership because the guy I replaced took a customer's car, washed it and drove it around the block head on into a pregnant woman. How about that?

| You think pulling in front of and then stopping in front of an F450 w/ trailer is bad, imagine what would have happened if it was an 80,000 lb 18-wheeler! I drove those things for two years and was lucky enough not to have that happen, but have heard stories from other driver who have had that happen. Makes for a bad day for the trucker due to all the crud he has to go through when involved in a collision with injuries/death. |

| similar situation... not as big as a 450, but still a 150. I've been reading some of the posts about some idiot pulling out in front of a full size, fully loaded with trailer, truck, and I just had something like that happen to me. I had a 1991 F-150 for about 3 years. It had engine problems so I sold it to a friends uncle who owned a shop. He fixed it up, and took me for a ride in it. He put close to $4000 in the thing between a new transmission and new engine (long story... let's just say oil is a very important part of an engine.) and finished the day before. We were driving around in NH, and this dumb ass in a Chevy Caprice ran a stop sign and floored it out in front of us... even though the F-150 was smaller than the truck in the original post, it didn't stop all that quickly... totaled the other car, and smashed up the front end on the truck. I drove it for 3 years, and never had an accident... sold it, and within a few months it was back in the shop. Think before you pull out in front of a bigger vehicle... we might not stop as fast as we want to...:nono: (of course, it was a Chevy, so it wasn't a total loss :smokin: )
