| is that for real? it take six hours to fully charge and you can only drive for about an hour on the highway. I think they need to rethink their efforts to make the product more resonable.

| and the point of a ranger would be............................... but 500 pounds in the bed and lets see how fast it can go! electric = focus gas = truck how much torque can you get out of a battery?

| well atleast they are trying.. one of these days were going to find an alternative to gas and were going to say screw you to the rest of the world and finally pay off the national debt :) SOMEDAY... AFTER I DIE ;)

| well i went and reread the articele and what i found suprising was it only get maxium performance if its kept at a max of no more than 65 mph, whats the fun in that

| hmm. a ranger that just buzzes! not for me man! my luck i would go to race a chevy or a jap and something would short out or the battery would die!

| I think that they shouldn't make an electric truck until you can go atleast 3 hours. put that motor in a metro or something. I think that I would like a lil metro with one of them lil wind up keys. screw that 6 hour stuff. I could just wind it up and go

| electric cars are quick, dont fool yourself...with a combustion engine you have to wait for the motor to rev to the proper rpm for maximum torque and hp, with the electric there is no waiting, all power and torque is instant...though not fun because there is no thrill with out a deep exhaust note that turns into a scream.

| I agree with alaskanranger they need to get to the point where the truck is going to be more useful than be a burdon on the owner. I personally would not own a truck that took longer to charge than it does to run the battery down, but thats just my opinion.
