OK, so I am sure car makers are always struggling to find a name for their next car that will be catchy and unique. But throughout history manufacturers have given some of their cars names that make you wonder what the hell they were thinking!?

For example, how would you like to tell your non-auto enthusiast friends that you just bought a tour egg (Tourag) and not have them know what you are talking about? I realize this wasn't meant to be an english name, but wouldn't they think of how it translates when they name it?

There are plenty of them out there and all manufacturers are guilty of em. The chevy chevette..wtf is that like the half pint to the corvette? yep it was, but wtf...anything daewoo named was just odd, the good old plymouth satelite. Probalby bout a million more if I was in the junkyard back home i'd pick on, but all I see now are the korean names on cars which are different than back home...for instance the hyundai prince? I believe its a sentra..but who knows
