my mother's old Pontiac 6000 LE. 2.8 multi-port. 297, 000 kilometers and the trans went. The motor still purred for god's sake. it hauled 4 people + all their shit and a camper to Alberta 6 times.

Being honest I was disappointed in the SRT-4 (send the hate mail) My brother bought one, and the shifter was an honest 6" too long (it was like rowing an F**ing boat) and I expected great things from a 2.4 liter DOHC turbo 4 with a front mount... Don't get me wrong, it seems like a great platform for tuning, but I seriously expected something much more impressive.

A million cars have had my hopes up and my dissapointment even higher, I got to drive the 3000gt, a friend had it and said it was the shit, so I drove it, and realized it was just shit...no not the twin turbo. A friend had a turbo'd Civic that he was always talking junk about as well, again JUNK. I just haven't found too many cars that excite me anymore. Theres never enough speed and always too many gizmose and gadgets...now give me a new crotch rocket, and I'll be excited for years to come!

That 6.4 Twin Turbo Powerstroke is a total pig. Comes no where close to living up the hype. That POS wont get out of it's own way in stock form

a perfect example would be the 318, like the one in my 1987 Dodge Ram. i think that year was the last for the carburetor in those trucks. but why couldnt they find a way to get half decent performance out of them? 2 barrel, restrictive intake, EGR, crappy iron manifolds, thermactor system, countless catalytic converters, low duration cam, low compression, and it still only gets 13 MPG on a good day. damn all those government regulations!

thats alright, ill either swap over to TBI or ill pull the motor and bump the compression up a bit with some flat tops which should improve power and mileage.

2nd gen Supras. My 1st gen (85.5) was such a beast, and the 2nd gens looked good but sitting behind the wheel of mine (90) felt like being in a Camry, or something. Granted, it was NA, but my cousin later bought a turbo'd '91 and it wasn't much more impressive.
