So you wanna borrow 12 grand on a car that is worth around 9 grand (asking price)? Umm.. no.

If you have to borrow money to buy a "toy" car, then you either need to start saving up, or find a chepaer "toy" car. Actually, borrowing money to buy a car is poor practice, period.

Not a toy, more along the lines of daily driver, leaving the colt as my "do stupid shit too" vehicle. And the extra 3 grand is for mods(mostly wheels)

it may be poor practice to get a loan for a car, but I have never missed a payment on anything, and never plan to.Plus now that I'm working, I should be able to get a loan for a better car than the Colt(it's been sitting in a junkyard for almost a year, and my brother beat the shit out of it.)

I understand that. And borrowing money for a car is a necessary evil for most. However, as a man once said, "a borrower is slave to the lender".

well, unfourtunately 9 grand is a lot of money to me. it would take a very long time to save that up.

(Not to mention the fact that this thread isn't wholly serious, I plan on getting something like them, but a while from now.)
