Toyota Seeing Declining Sales At Home

Quote:
While American automakers are seeing a massive drop in sales at home, Toyota is seeing a slight downturn of its own back in Japan. Japan's largest automaker, citing a sluggish passenger car sales in the Japanese market, will drop the sales target to 1.74 million or 1.75 million units from the initial target of 1.78 million, according to the Asahi Shimbun. The sources said there is a possibility that Toyota's sales figure will be as small as last year's 1.71 million units.

Of course sales are going down across the board, has anyone other than me noticed gas prices? I'm paying almost $2 a gallon more that I did 5 years ago, it's fucking ridiculous.

Yeah, well 4 years ago I was paying $1.10 a gallon. When it went up to $1.35 I bitched and didn't want to put gas in my car... Now I wish it was that cheap again.

I shouldn't complain because I continue to buy it. But I have to.
I pay about $4.64 a gallon right now. Sometimes it's much higher. At one point it reached about $5.60 a gallon.
Putting ten bucks in your car, and getting only two gallons of gas sucks.

Back to the subject of Toyota, I can see why if their sales are dropping. Look at what the other Japanese Automakers have produced compared to Toyota. Toyota is becoming the Buick of Japan; there cars are so bland and boring. Hell; Mitsubishi im sure has a better line up than Toyota has now. The only possible car I would even think about Purchasing would be the Aygo because that thing looks like a total blast to drive, and very practical.
