Clear Head lights and bumpers

This question goes out to Ken. How much would you charge for jsut a cleared out set of lights (clear corner lense installed) without the angel eyes and the smoked bumpers witt he lenses already attached to the clip? I'm basically looking for plug and play hardware where I don't ahve to do any major work myself like baking my headlamps or cutting the old lense off my bumber clip.

Ken,

Don't you supply the headlights for the angel eyes already, would it be possible to get pricing with the products you already have stocked?

I normally sell the angel eyes installed into headlights for $379 but I have not been able to find good headlights. I can install the angel eyes into a set of your headlights for $185. That includes angel eye rings, installation and shipping back to you. Your headlights would have to have the grey sealant to be used. If it has the black sealant I can not use them.

The headlights with the grey sealant can be separated. The ones with the black sealant can not. This was a change Lincoln made sometime in 2002 for the moisture problem with the headlights.

Well that sucks, I'll check tonight to see what type I have, but if I have the black sealant, do you have ones with the grey?

No I don't or I would have them available on my website. The used headlight market for the LS is drying up.

Ken,
I have the same condensation problem as everyone else has mentioned before. How can you tell the difference between the grey and black sealant? I just bought an 02 LS sport two weeks ago and with only 12k on the car, I wouldn't have expected the headlights to be as bad as they are. The previous owner had the brilliant idea of caulking with clear caulk around the top side of the light where the lens and housing meet. Hoping to stop this issue I assume. Looks great by the way... :-D .It looks like there are clips on the top side were the lens meets the housing and they look to have grey sealant on the clips.
Also, for the $185 using my head lights, hypothetically speaking if they can be used now, will they be sealed up to prevent the condensation problem?

thxs

It depends on what kind of "caulking" is on your headlights. Some of that stuff won't come off. As for the grey and black sealant, you can look at the top of the headlight where there are three square holes. You should be able to see there is grey or black sealant there.
