What Ive been up to

:wavey:
Hey, just thought Id update you folks on whats been going on... Remember that lame 84 V6 mustang I had? I ended up trading it for a 79 Mustang with a 302, ported heads, edelbrock intake, comp cam with a 5 spd and a 4.30 gear. (had to throw a little extra cash in the trade of course) but it was a fun car. I only have 1 walkaround/idle video of it and the car is dirty cause i had just brought it home but here it is: Video - quick walk around of my 79 stang. (i know its really dirty right now) nothing exciting, just parking it. will have driving videos up when spring comes around.

Then I sold the Mustang to buy a more practical vehicle. It was a 1993 Blazer 4x4 with low miles and in beautiful shape. I only had it for a week when I was in a head on wreck (totally not my fault) on a trip to southern Ohio. Now Im playing the insurance settlement game while driving my old beater Dodge Ram.

Im currently working at a custom car/ classic restoration body shop called Body & Soul in Adrian, MI which I hope to make a career out of. Im learning quite a bit there and doing a lot of fabrication work.

Now Im tinkering around with a 1982 Mustang hatchback that I bought from my neighbor. Its not quite as complete as the '79 was, but the body is in nearly perfect shape and is just screaming for a nice paint job. Thats it for me so far, how you guys been doin?

damn you have been changing cars frequently. Are you going to pull the 347 in the 82 to put that blue 302 in it? I still have the same truck since you last came by but i guess a few things have changed on it.

I dont actually have a 347, I was just plannin on building one for that car... but if I can get ahold of a 351W, I may make a 408 stroker out of it if I can get up enough balls to do it. :burnout:

And yea I do go through vehicles like socks, but I plan on keepin this one for a while lol. Now that I work in a custom shop I can slap a nice paint job on it for just the cost of the materials, so Im pretty psyched about holding on to this one. Oh and youre truck is still looking kick ass by the way.

Yea, thanks. I know Mustangs are like assholes- everyones got one. And yes they arent all that great from the factory, but with a few swaps and mods here and there, they can really kick some ass. Right now Im looking into a gear kit for the T-5 tranny that handles 550 ft. lbs. as opposed to the stock rating of 300. That will hold up nicely to a 408 stroker. Ive also seen a few guys put 460's in em and yes they do fit somehow.
