New Headlights....

The headlights on my car were disgusting...yellow, cloudy etc...i tried everything to get them to shine again, but to no prevail i just broke down and bought new ones...

black headlights housings and some new "hid" 8500k bulbs...here's the pics to do the rest of the talking...they look soooo good in person, i'll get some day shots tomorrow! :hbang:

forgive the filthy car...damn lovebugs make it hard to keep clean :tantrum:

The visibility is SOOO much better...there's some pretty dark areas around where i live, and i had a very hard time seeing what was in front of me...now i can see fairly clear down the road...i think i'm going to be changing the bulbs...they still seem to be a little dimmer then what i would like...probably go with a 6500k..

all in all i'm very pleased

this is me going to show how much of a redneck i am... WD40 cleans it right off. and leaves a filim to make it easy to get them off after impact..

that is marvelous! i think they look teriffic. i still have to post it, but a customer bought one of those $15 permatex plastic lens restoring kits and i used it on my clear lenses in the front of the spirit. they came out nice.

...the car that the customer bought it for, however, it did not work very well on lol.

if you want to keep them looking great for a long time use Maguire's PlastiX on them regularly, it helps a lot!

And it looks very good on your car..!

i've always felt that any car with a big muffler like that hanging out the back was rice... but it looks like there won't be huge rims with gumband tires or any decals.

i'm glad that the valve cover is coming back! it is very nice.

well it's not completely acurate lol...it's just a photochop ;)

trust me the muffler isn't going to be that "prominent" then what it looks in the chop...the wheels are bigger then what they would be in real life as well ;)
