We finally installed my darn PI intake manifold out of a 02 police CrownVic, it took us a lot amount of luck and Murphy's law to accomplish... When we finished installing it I went to take a first little ride with it to see if everything was fine, no leaks, so we head to the restaurant but my mech went to work. When we arrived at the restaurant, my car was smoking a bit from under the hood, we poped it open to watch and we conclude that it might be the coolant liquid that was laying on the top of the block that was evaporating... after that, with our belly full of KFC, I popped again the hood and added some coolant to stabilize the level, half a gallon, 1 1/2 gallon... 1 gallon of water... where the fuck does it goes... beneath the car of course......... so we take the car to where my friend was working (he is a security agent of a outdoor market so no big fuck to work on the car, hopefully!) we figure out where it was leaking, remove the freaking intake, put a massive amount of RTV on the water ports (what we should have done in the first place...!) and reinstalled everything (it was 9-930PM so pretty dark!) But in the process I think we broke something in my EGR tube from the exhaust manifold to plenum... but that I realized while going back home as it sounded like i had exhaust leak in the front... and today I adjusted a few things...like one spark plug got wet in the process and was misfiring once in a while... now everything is doing fine except that freaking egr leak... but the car runs strong, slight loss in the low end but a nice gain in the 3k-5k RPM range! I'll post some picture eventually as I had forgotten my camera yesterday and my friend took the pictures. However I'll take a few snap later today of the engine bay

well rampy, my car ain't an ex-cruiser... HPP stands for Handling & Performance Package, it's kinda rare over here to find one. It included 16'' wheels (they were nice) 21mm sway bar in the back, rear-air suspension in the back (the stiffest one !) dual exhausts and some other goodies like that

the only thing that might have confused you is my old badging (that was used to plug the holes that held the original CrownVictoria LX badge), other than that :dunno:

Anyways, cop car sucks balls, they are beaten all their life long, and still beaten by their new owner.... mine was a old fart's car, he was like 80 when he sold the car... so he bought it at like 72 or so...! and did 60K on it withing 8 years

the car did not went forward when I put it into drive from park...! had to give throttle to make it move!! now it is going fairly well and braking strong, now I'm going to check if I can do the same with my back brake as they are smaller than my old front one... might want to try my old front and put them in the back...!
