Rhino Linings sucks

Well it used to anyway. When I bought my truck the spray-on liner looked horrible. It was extremely faded and chipped up. My friend was ordering some stuff online for his truck and he told me about this stuff called "Renu It" and said he was going to order a bottle. It is a dye that restores the look of faded bed liners (whether sprayed on or drop in) and brings them back to the new look. I was skeptical at first but for $20 I figured I would try it.

Before:

After a quick scrub and rinse: still looks like crap

Mid progress using the Renu It.

After the first coat:

I did two more really light coats to even out the look of it. I didnt get any pics of it after that because I was kind of tired and done doing that stuff. Ill take some more tomorrow. It is supposed to last over a year when left out in the sun because it says it has UV protectants. Im hoping it lasts longer since I have a tonneau cover.

Next time go with LineX. No fading and just as strong as Rhino Lining. Furthermore, LineX can match just about any color. Rhino lining can too, as long as the color is White, Black Grey and Red... maybe even blue.

yeah i know that, but the previous owner had it done. Actually my friend that ordered it did it to his line-x and even though it spent most of its life under a tonneau cover and out of the sun, it still made it look better than new and cleaned up all the rust spots and other stains that it got.

actually i use it quite a bit. mostly just hauling dirt, fertilizer, drywall, plywood, etc, and thats probably how it got stained. Sometimes I help people move with it, or haul a motorcycle somewhere, but thats rare. At about 800-1000 lbs in the bed and I start getting worried about the suspension and the tires since they and the stock good-year RS-As were basically passenger car tires.

I see, My Ranger worked hard all summer long as my Father in law was building a little garage...I lend him my truck for like two weeks, and everyday it was hauling stuff with the trailer and lots of stuff in the bed..! It handle it very well...

what are your tire size?

that's really cool dude, i'm glad it looks better now for only $20! there's no liner in chad's new truck, which is better to get, spray on or drop in?

i also didn't know about your truck being used like that to haul things, that's awesome :)
