My Mk6 Fiesta

Bought as a damage repairable and fixed up for a small price, all the way over in the UK.

Re: My Mk6 Fiesta

Nice work. It sounds like you made the repairs yourself, and paint as well. Very ambitious for most people. What model year is it?

Re: My Mk6 Fiesta

Aye did all the repairs between myself and my dad. Is a 2004 model, only a 1.25l but I was wanting a 2.0l ST conversion however due to my dad finishing his recent project he is looking for a new one and after seeing a cossy fiesta he wants to do a cosworth conversion on it and cut floor to make it 4x4 whether that happens we will see lol

Re: My Mk6 Fiesta

1.25 L Zetec is a great engine, trust me. I am from Europe, and I've seen Fiesta's like yours with that engine. It's economical, ( 5-6 litres per 100 kilometres ), elastic and rather strong for it's capacity...Since the fuel prices are up, maybe you should leave it intact

Re: My Mk6 Fiesta

I have heard about horrible gas prices over there. And we Americans think things are bad.

Re: My Mk6 Fiesta

beside the gas prices, cossie ( cosworth ) has a low mileage ( gas guzzler ).....and he'll probably have a difficulties converting it to 4x4, especially cosworth...
He'll need 2.0 zetec engine, gearshifter ( dunno if Foci has the same one like Fiesta, on European Foci is MTX75 model, and an Ecu unit from the 2.0 model to make it ST..It's easier to make it Fiesta ST ( 150 hp ), cause all you need is 2.0 engine, shifter and Ecu. Cosworth engine is different than Zetec, and it was usually found in Escorts here in Europe...Fiesta ST had 150 hp, with more - less same engine from Foci mk1, while Foci RS mk1 had that engine with T3 garret turbo.. ( correct me if I'm wrong )....

But if he's interested, I can put some links of Europe Fiesta conversions...:naughty:
