Re: "OverHaulin" my 2002 Ranger

OK. Here's a photo of the front end. Full down. Oscar tells me that the truck will rise
about 1" to 2" + or - a bit from what you see here when the install is finished.
The top of the wheel well opening should be about 1" below the top of the top of the tire.

Two shots of the rear. No bags installed and there is still 7" clearance from the gas tank to the ground.
That should rise about 2" to 3" when the bags are installed.

Hard to see here but the cross brace is only about 1/2" off the rear end.
Even though this should increase by 2" to 3" with the bags installed,
Oscar will weld in a bracket for a bump stop. Just to be safe.

Oscar testing the new audio system. Sounded a bit tinny to me. That was on FM.
I didn't have a CD with me to try out. I still need to dial in the speakers.

Re: "OverHaulin" my 2002 Ranger

This is the bump stop bracket Oscar built. Without the rear bags installed the stops rest on the rear end.
When the bags are installed there should be about 2" clearance.

With the shock fully extended there's about 9-10" between stops and the rear end.

Passenger side shock. Still have to fabricate shock mounts for the driver side.
Without the rear bags installed the notch in the frame clears the axle by about 1" or so.
That's with the stops resting on the rear end.

LUXURIOUS CUSTOMS fabricated this panel to house the air gauges and control switches.
I really like the way it came out.

Re: "OverHaulin" my 2002 Ranger

I've never been a fan of the stock Ranger, but that truck is going to look excellent when it's done! I've never seen a pic of a truck without the bed, that just looks funny. You should drive it around like that, see what kinds of looks you get... Lol :)
