1 of my Fords

Found some pics of the 1960 Starliner. I'll keep looking for the Mustang pics.

As I said elsewhere, neither me nor my dad really wanted it, so it's kinda sitting in a barn until opportunity comes along (he swears up and down that the first time someone offers him a fastback for it, it's gone).

Nice! I love Starliners!! Hope someday you can get it going. Sad to hear it's just sitting.

That is gorgeous! The fender openings, curves in the fenders, the overall shape cries out to be restored! Your lucky to have a diamond in the rough like that.

No. Absolutely not. I'm not a real big fan of lowriders...in fact I don't like them at all. Just never was a look that I liked.

As far as being lucky...eh. Yeah, it's supposedly a really rare car (someone said less than 2000 or something like that, but I have no idea). The part where it's not so lucky is the fact that with old Fords like that, finding parts is just about impossible. And when you do find them, they're super expensive. I don't even know if I'll be able to find replacement chrome strips for the sides (you can tell where they were). I don't even want to think about the suspension and associated bushings. It's not going to be an easy project, that's for certain.

Don't know much about those Fords. But if they are as rare as you say they are. Heck ya thats going to be a bitch. Maybe you get some advice on this board as to where to look. Or who might carry some of those. Best of luck with the project. keep us updated
