| I have invested HUGE money. It really only started out as me wanting a reliable 4x4 for winter. It's just turned over 100k kilometres (don't know what that is in miles). the suspension travel is not great, maybe only about 15" or so for the rear and even less for the front. cost so far in Canadian funds (add 43% for US funds): $9000 purchase $2500 wheels and tires $1500 gears (installed) $500 Detroit locker $170 Warn manual hubs $450 Rhino lining $375 TJM front bumper (used) $1000 warn winch $1077 for Black DIamond lift $120 Trailmaster body-lift $ 150 APC altezza's (not shown) $300 for Diamond back headlights (not Shown) $120 for STreetbeat Euro Clears $250 for Warn fender flares $50 for Recarros (used) $60 seat covers $95 Momo shift knob $30 Saleen race pedals $500 for sutom rear bumper with tire carrier (not shown) $300 for SVO diff cover *sick of reading yet? * $40 Warn steering stablizer $120 Lund rollpan $285 Optima battery $120 Pro-comp 8" lights $300 steel toolbox $400 Alpine CD player $300 10" crossfire sub $300 MB Quarts $800 Punch AMP $120 rear slider $300 Uniden CB $50 K&N $100 Husky floor liners &^%$&^%$ I have spent a lot!!! okay now I'm depressed... there is even more that I haven't listed... mostly factory parts that were options that i never had or repairs I've made (clutch #4). i've only had the truck for about 5 years now and it's still not finished. I plan to do a v8 conversion and a Dana 44 solid axle. Beats spending my $$$ on booze or drugs though. ![]() ![]()

| money pits It's nice to see at truck that isn't all show but a real goer. To many guys here in Ontario (Toronto) spend mega bucks on their trucks so they look nice sitting on their lawn. Well if you haven't driven down a snowmobile tail (or logging/ mining road for you guys in the south)crossed a creek, mowed down a couple of saplings, burried you truck to the axels in a mud bog, broken your truck on a trail, don't talk to me. Either PLAY HARD or GO HOME! I know FORD 4X4 enthusiast usually play hard. I've spent 4 years up in the Yukon, with camping trips into Alaska. Thanx to the USA for buying this scenic wonder from the Russians. I like this vote for your favorite truck idea. I'm not trying to offend anybody, but I can tell you're are proud of your truck, and keep it looking nice. I don't care if mine breaks or gets dinged, because I've got more than one truck to use as a daily driver or to play hard when we go out mudding.
