i think so...althought i have never owned or had them myself, my dads car has em. They are ALOT easier to clean and remain clean longer. The only disadvantage that i know of is the heat in the summer. But i wear long pants 99% of the time anyways so oh well.

besides the fact that they make my butt and back sweat i have no problem with them. i have had the chance to have them but cloth with a nice seat cover is fine with me.

they suck in the winter, unless you get them self heating ones, but even then when you hop into a car when its 30 below and you get the firm icy grip that only leather gives you...it sucks ass, but they are more comfortable.

My wife hates them, but I love the look and feel of leather. She still thinks cloth is better in extreme hot and cold, but that's 'cause of that skirt/dress thing (thank goodess we don't wear kilts here).

We both like the perforated leather in the Bird. She won't let me put covers on the seats. "You can't cover those beautiful seats" she says. I guess she loves the car enough to put up with the discomfort with a grin on her face!
