not a smoker

not a smoker. Want to get rid of the 12 volt adapters. I have a97 showtruck, and I think they are ugly. I know that sounds stupid, but I only need 1, and theres 3. I only want to keep the one that hides it self next to the ashtray. The other 2 are to the left and right of the stereo. A friend has a 96', and she has no adapters next to the stereo, only by the ashtray. Wondering if the 96' front stereo panel (the part that comes off when you install a new stereo)would replace mine. Any Suggestions?:wavey:

if you know how to get it off try to take the one off the 96 and try it. then go to the junk yard and see if you can find a good used one.

hmmmmm.....

I do know how to get it off, but I was wondering if I should just hide them with the replacement panel, or if I have to clip the wires and tape them off? 2nd one would make sense, but does it matter?:wavey:
