rear quarter panel

how do I remove the rear quarter panel on my Ranger? its way to rusted to bondo.

It is an involved process of taking out the seams on the inside of the bed....also where the quarter panel meets the front of the bed......Its a pain in the ass....I would just spend the money and get a new bed!!!

okeydoke, guess when I go to the salvage yard to pick up an oil cooler, Aerostar grill and an 5.0 throttle body I will just pick up an new bed too. thanks for the info.

If I were you, I would look at getting a splash(sport side) bed . Though narrower, it has fiberglass bed sides that will never ever rust. It is also a direct bolt on.

a splash bed on an 89 ranger, no thanks, besides I need anouther metal bed so I can cut it up and custumize my subwoofer box thats going from the cab into the bed space.
