Well i have my first (i think) scratch on my mustang.... any good products to get it out? I dont think it went all the way through the paint...so it can probably be buffed out right?

i have some solutions! I used to detail cars and i used Mcguires scratch remover! Sounds bad but it really works! It comes in a black tube but im not sure if they have changed the name! There is also a good scratch remover made by MOTHERS! You can also just try using a compound a followed by some GOOD wax! '

Here is the other way! Try using a CLAY BAR! Mcguries makes this as well! its easy to use and its the shit! i just did my entrie truck the other day and it came out so damn good!

Let me know if this works!

If it is just a minor abrasion, like a shoe scuff on a floor, then I would recommend Meguirs fine cut cleaner. You don't have to use it with a buffer... It will work very well with just a slightly damp terry cloth towel.

Mine had stripes all over it from fourwheeling. I ended up having to wetsand the paint with 2000 grit and then buffed it with medium cut, then fine cut. After that I use the mirror glaze polish and #26 yellow wax.

I still have some factory paint showing too and I have still won a best paint award or two.
