well after my 79 f 150 gets out of the shop i plan on getting it painted. i wont be getting it paint for awhile cuz i need to save up the money first. i want a cool paint job and have been thinking about flames, stripes, two tone, or just one solid color. i have been thinking of putting a black and silver together or red and black. i just got an idea by looking at a boss shinoda mustang model i built. its red n black. i thought of maybe doing the same paint scheme. red base w/ black stripe down the center of the car and the stripe down the side saying boss but instead of saying shinoda maybe 4x4 or truck or something. here is a picture of it on the car. http://www.streetclassics.com/mustangs/boss429.gif

so what do u guys think? im open to other ideas just thought this would be a unique one and look good. i think id definately get some attention from this and scare those poor chevy drivers

How 'bout two-tone.....dark on top, light on bottom. Like a shark.
Just follow the line of the hood down the side of the truck for the break of the two colors. The break could be then pinstripedwith about any color.

if i went with a two-tone paint job id pry go with black on top, red on bottom, and white pinstripping to seperate the two. im still thinking about some type of stripes though. i have awhile to figure it out. keep the suggestions comming. :thumbsup:

ok two rones are nice i have always liked black and grey or 2 tone grey or blue and white some thing along thouse lines. i have a page some where that has all fiber glass parts for the 73-79 ford trucks beds doors hoods cowl hoods.i will find it and post it later

In my opinion the combination electric metallic blue, or candy apple red, one those colors with a metallic cream color looks awesome, eyecatching and not to mention classy. Add some silver pinstriping if your in to that. Then those poor chevy bastards will be in some bad shape.
