I was keeping my interior work as much as a secret as possible till now...so here is what I have been doing for the last 4 weeks!

First of all I purchased a set of beautiful Tan leather seats out of an 98 Eddie Bauer edition Explorer...these babies are NICE....however they will not fit good in my truck so they are FOR SALE now!

Second of all I have covered the door panels, headliner, pillars, back wall and kick panels in tweed and it looks bada$$...pics up tomorrow.

do you have the 60/40 seats? just cut the armrest out and cover the cut with the leftover fabric, and you have buckets. if you had an ext cab, those seats would have fit

Ive been wanting to do that for a while and then add an explorer center console, and have come close to actually doing the mod and then backed off. Would like to see some pictures... am guessing however you have seat covers on? What do you plan to do with the extra space?

ahhh, seat covers... i'm going to do that, but 2 questions... how did you cut the seat.. hacksaw? and is it possible to take some of the material from the cut off part and use it to cover a hole on the new bucket?

I used a knife to cut off the foam and then a sawsall(sp?) to cutoff the metal support. Then I used a file to smooth the metal down and then tucked the material under the seat.
