| Custom Console, NEED HELP! i am puttin a custom console in my truck after my buckets are put in and i want to put a short stick shifter in. how did you do this? has anyone ever done this? any tips or suggetsions? TIA

| no clue how to do it....i wanna know how you did buckets though! i have the 60/40 seats and want to swap them to buckets

| I am not sure about the short throw shifter thing man, because no matter what you do with the stick you will still have to shift the same distance because thats how the gears in the tranny are set up.

| there was a mini truckin article that showed how to put a short throw in a taco so they must have one for a ranger as well if you want to go ghetto style you can cut the shifter down some to make it shorter between shifts

| ohh, LR22, i have custom saturn seats, all i need is the seat tracks and weld them together and bolt them in......

| the seats are in and i will post pics soon, now i just need to start on the console, i am thinking of making it look shorter with a shift boot and a high console, but my shifts are from radio to seat, i dont like that.

| use a shorter rod. the shifter is bolted to the transmisson, undo the shifter by undoing the bolt and linkage. seats -- to do the 60/40 to buckets just got the arm rest with a saw,and re do the seat back up. www.rangerpowersports.com/forum interior board should be a write up there.
