front end mod ?

will the front bumper and header panel from an explorer sport fit on a ranger? been wondering this for a while now. havent had a chance to really get up close and compare the two,but they do appear similar.

just wondering.

thats a good question. they do look kinda similar but i dont know about the headlights workin out. if the width of the hood on either one was just a quarter inch off it would mess it up.

keep your eyes out at shows. if it can be done it is usually done.

maybe just the headlights, corner lights, grille,n bumper........does look like it might take some work to fit the headlights in the ranger fenders.

i personaly dont care for the fender flares on the explorer.

i do like the new ranger hood though.

Thanks Waldo for the compliment, it makes all the work worthwhile. I must admit that I am surprised at all the ppl that have paid compliments and want to do it to their truck. I wish all mods had that response.

if you want a newer front end (header panel grill lights etc) its going to take some serious work to mount everything up, I dont know all the details but the header panel needs some custom work and the lights will fit if the fenders are redone, in short it might be worth it for a 93+ but on a first or second gen ranger it is not worth it, the lines are just so different:fcrules:
