I use turtle wax. I try to clean and wax my truck, then leave it outside when it is seriously windy and snowy. This may sound odd, but it does a great job buffing it out, and is easy to do.

I use that Zip Wax(turtle wax)/Car Wash in one bottle stuff. I don't really worry about my paint job cause I don't really like it! I'm gonna get a lotta of body work done sooner or later and get it re-shot in a nice new coat of metallic silver.

BuFinish is the best I've ever used. Cheaper than Zymol, MOthers, Meguires, and Zainos and last just as long. EASY to apply as well. I don't believe the hype about other waxes....Fact is, if you want a good shine you have to wax evry 6 tp 8 weeks.

I've read on some detailing sites, that NuFinish wax is abrasive, and most of the "professionals" don't recommend it. I've tried several brands that you can get at wal-mart, and the NuFinish is by far the easiest to apply, and leaves a very hard shiny finish. It even has some cleaning properties similar to wax, but is actually a sealant (I think). This stuff does have a really strong odor while using it, and also seems to stain plastic molding if you accidently get some on it. Other than that, NuFinish really seems to work pretty good. The Zaino Brothers wax systems and Klassee(sp?) are supposed to be some of the very best, but takes several steps and a lot of time to apply. Also. you have to do a lot of research on how to apply which product first, and in what order. I'm sure it would be worth the effort, if you've got the time and money. Also, the Zaino waxes have to be ordered online, which is another hassle. I just bought some Meguires cleaner wax recently (smells good, like tanning lotion or something), and plan to try it on my car this weekend. I'll let you guys know how it works. So far, I've had good results with the cheap NuFinish brand, and will probably use it again on my "beater" car. This stuff really does last a long time (up to four months or so). I'll report back on my Meguires results soon. Thanks for your time. PEACE. Darby:wavey:

Yeah I use Klasse. I highly recommend it. I'm at about 4 coats right now and the paint is SO slick and SO dark. It looks hella awesome right now.

As for NuFinish. It is very abrasive and a very strong cleaner. You really do not want to use it more than like 2 times a year on a new vehicle. You're rubbing off all the paint. It does protect great though for an OTC product. It's a silicone resin based polymer. Which... yeah its a polymer sealant type product... but not exactly. Since it has cleaning and polishing properties its not a true sealant.
