Let me throw in another idea. I seen a guy the other day open his door with a remote! It was so cool, he started his car and popped the door open from about 100 feet away. I don't know where he got it but with the internet it should not be too hard to find.

I think you will be better off with the remote, just look in any rice rocket magazine or mini truckin and you will find them easily.

1986 ranger, gen 2 cab,front end and interior. bagged and 4 linked, laying tranny member( need to remove that) soon be draggin on a street near u.

Most aftermarket shops can handle something like that. Our Radio Shop here in Wichita kansas handles the remote start and door opener. You might check with a aftermarket department of your Ford dealer and they can tell you who might handle them.
