Keep your wheels clean

Some of you might have this problem or maybe not. When I wash my truck I always spray the tires with cleaner last. But some of the spray always gets on the wheels and it leaves streaks even if I wipe them off. I was looking in a mag and I saw an ad for a piece of plastic that was round with a handle on it. It was made to keep the wheels clean when you spray your tires. Great right? Nope it was like $30-40!!!!!!!!!!
So I made my own. All you need is a metal coat hanger, some tape and a big piece of paper or cardboard.
Take the hanger and make it straight. Then hold it up to your wheel and bend it to the shape of the wheel. Tape it to the paper and cut the paper to the shape.
Thats it. Saved my self $40.

It works good eh?
I bent the coat hanger so I could hold on to it.

That's a good idea Rumble Buggy! That would work good when I spray protectant on my tires, to keep from over spraying on to the mags. It's aggravating to have to clean your mags again when you were almost finished! Thanks for sharing you tip with us. Be cool. Darby
