What is the best chrome polisher out there? I just got a new truck and I put a chrome bug guard on it and I have chrome rims too. I want those bad boys to reflect the sun like no-body’s business. Any suggestions?

If it has surface rust, steel wool (LIGHTLLY!!!) and turtle wax chrome cleaner/polish. Otherwise, just the TW chrome polish will work awesome. That is what I am currently using to restore the chrome on my 74 F-100. I'll post a pic of the results for you today.

We get ours from the local Harley dealer. You know there is nothin better to use than what they detail a 20k dollar chrome bike with.

it is called X-treem and comes in cloth form. Cost 9.95 at the dealer we got it.

in Alaska, Duct tape is considered chrome, once it starts to peel off just put on a new layer...

lmao..... anyways i heard of wenol being good as well as mothers being good. but if you have light oxidation (rust) believe it or not take some ATF on a rag and rub it on then rub it off. works great. then use some kind of chrome protectant.

hmm brake fluid i think it would just make it shinier if you could get all the residue off but in the end the chemical compounds would probably eat up the chrome, thats what i think but i dont know for sure
