What kind of protectant to use?

I was wondering what kind of stuff(Armor-all,etc.) you Guys would suggest for my dash and door panels. I like the matt finish, compared to the glossy.Does this stuff have adverse affects on vinyl that's exposed to the hot sun of summer?I would appreciate your opinions. Thanks. Darby:wavey:

I use Meguires plastic/vynil protectant.

It smells nice and isn't corrosive like armor-all. Smells like real leather too.

I was told by a man in the body shop of the Lincoln dealer that 303 is good stuff, but if you ever stop using it, the surface goes bad prematurely.

It's me again guys! I've heard a lot about the 303 protectant on some detailing sites, but have never used it. You have to order it, and I'm not sure if I would like it. I bought some stuff at Auto Zone made by Meguires, called "natural SHINE". I think it may be the same stuff that Stevil was talking about. It says it's for vinyl and rubber, and it seems to work pretty well and smells really great. It doesn't leave the high gloss, greasy look like some other products that I've used. If you want more "shine", you can apply a second coat. Anyway, I'll stay with this until I find something better. Pretty good though for something that I can buy local. Hope this helps. Be cool guys, and I'll check you later. PEACE. Darby:wavey:

I just started using 303 Protectorant on the advise of a friend. It has excellent UV protecting qualities. It was first used in the avation industry to protect against UV damage. You can actually buy it at almost any RV and boat supply store.

I have friends that swear up and down on using Zaino. For waxing I personally use the Meguiars 3 step process. For the interior vinyl I use Meguiars #39 vinyl cleaner/protector.
For the leather, I use lexol. It's very good.
