| 351 c in a 98 ranger does anyone have any experence/ info on installing a 351 cleveland and fmx trans in a 98 ranger 2wd?? had a 2.5 with automatic in it. what about the front suspension?? will it hold up?? i fabed up a 9" ford and a 4 link on the rear and can run at least 10.5 slicks without tubbing it after i did the 4 link.. any comments will really help.. thanks mezking |

| Re: 351 c in a 98 ranger a 351 in a ranger witha 2.5 is no small thing. firewall will have to be cut or i you wanted smashed with a hammer. the easier thing to do is a 302 stroker for the torque you want from a 351 winsor. with a 302 it is much easier, you even use a set of motor mounts out of a 3.0 or 4.0 ranger. check out james duff racing |
