| Ranger engine swap i recently bought a ford ranger. this is my first vehicle and i don't know much. i want to swap the engine for something more powerful but im not sure what will fit under the hood or how to tell it will fit. any advice is appreciated      |

| Re: Ranger engine swap well it depends on how far you want to go. a ford 3.0,4.0,302,351 will easly fit in a ford ranger. i plan on a 302 swap in my own 3.0 ranger. be careful of the tranny you want to mount to the engine |
